Franken-Bree and Doorman Drew

Hi All,
We have a few videos to share of the kiddo's and their early days of walking. We think their walking style resembles Frankenstein, with the stiff leg movements and all.  And I love how they propel themselves back up by lifting their bottoms first. So watching Drew and Bree in action makes for good entertainment for us these days.
Here is "Franken-Bree", proving she can walk and brush her teeth gums at the same time. That girl's got talent!



And here is Drew, showing off a little talent of his own. His latest skill is opening the door (or at least attempting to, in the event we left it unlocked). Oh boy!

Walking on Sunshine

Hi All,
April is here and so is the sun! We have been loving this week's weather - sunny and 70s. Keep it coming! And, a big drum roll please....... Drew is walking! I knew he'd want in on the act when he saw all the attention Bree got showing off her walking skills. So, at 13 months and within a week of each other, Drew and Bree are both upwardly mobile. We're very proud of our boy Drew! We did get a short video clip. Bree was helping with the taping, so the camera was a little bouncy. :)

Walk This Way

Hi All,
We have exciting news to report - we now officially have a new walker in the house! Give it up for Bree, who just got up and decided to start walking on her own this evening. While I haven't been one bit worried when it would happen, it's still a proud moment to see it unfold before your eyes. Bree was a proud girl too - all smiles for her big accomplishment! She ate up the applause and wanted to do it over and over again. We even got some pretty good video of some of her moves. Yay Bree!

Auntie and Uncle's Birthday

Hi All,

We celebrated Darren and Sarah's birthday this past Sunday. They were born on the same day (two years apart), so they know all about dual birthday celebrations. Take note Drew and Bree. :) We had a nice family dinner, and of course lots of cake. It was an interesting day, in that there was still snow on the ground, but it was quite warm. So some of the group took the opportunity to do some warm weather snowmobiling. Drew and Bree were content to stay inside. Bree showed off some of her latest skills. She loves to stand all on her own. She also is walking with assistance, albeit she looks like a drunken sailor when she does! (See video below.)
