Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

Hi All,
If you're thinking this is a post about Jim, it's not! Bree got her first haircut on December 30th. I was apprehensive, but I knew she was overdue. The poor girl's bangs were taking over her face! So my solution was to get them cut, but not too short. Grandma got the call to do the honors. She was a beautician back in the day. Bree was a good sport, and we got the job done!

10 Months and Counting

Hi All!
Here we are at 10 months. We're growing like crazy, and there's no stopping us now! We're having lots of fun and keeping Mom on the go. That's our job, isn't it?
At our unofficial weigh-in, Drew now weighs 24.5 pounds and Bree weighs 20 pounds.

Is there a Bree behind all those bangs?

Pony Up

Hi All,
Drew and Bree are having fun with all their new toys. Here are some shots of them riding their pony from Oma and Opa. We're weren't sure if they were quite ready, because it's a 12 month toy, but they did just fine!

Manning Christmas

Hi All,
We hosted Christmas with Jim's family on Christmas afternoon. More food, drinks and family fun!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Don't look now, but Drew is eating again.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Hi All,
Jim, Drew, Bree and I celebrated Christmas in our home on Christmas morning. We opened presents fresh out of bed. It was a busy morning. Jim and I have delivered meals for Gods Kitchen on Christmas morning for a few years, and we decided to carry on the tradition. Although Jim's parents kindly offered to watch the kids while we delivered, I wanted Drew and Bree to be with us. It is their first Christmas after all. As it turns out, they were perfect angels as we completed our deliveries. Our delivery route went pretty smoothly, and we were greeted by many grateful recipients. The only glitch was a fresh layer of ice on the sidewalks. I promptly slipped and fell at our first stop, but nothing injured except my pride! Here are some Christmas morning pics......

"Morning snack - don't mind if I do!"

"The secret is out - our Dad loves canned meat!"

"Here's his lunchbox version."

"Opening presents is serious business."

"But I've got it all under control!"

Drew's turn

"Remote control boats - wait till we get our hands on these!"

"Yay! I always wanted one of these!"

Christmas Eve

Hi All,
We spent Christmas Eve at my parents. We had a huge spread of food (too many to name) and festive drinks. My brothers and sister were there, and we all enjoyed the time together. Presents came later in the evening. Drew and Bree held up well, although they were cashed out by the end of it all. Overall, a very Merry Christmas!

Preparing for the Big Event

Hi All,
The twinners felt they needed a little practice in the opening of their gifts. Some gifts simply needed inspection, while others were sacrificed for the cause.......

This one passes!

"Yessss, Auntie Erin said I could open this one."

"Always start with the bow."

"Dad, don't even think about touching my present."
