Hi All,
We don't have the TV on all that much. But, Drew has taken a liking to it. He will sit and watch most anything. And he also enjoys exploring all the TV buttons and patting the screen, much to his father's chagrin. Here he is enthralled with Dora. We don't normally let him sit this close. But since he took the trouble of pulling the ottoman up to the TV, I let him sit there for a minute. We don't have a normal viewing schedule, but perhaps I should let him watch one show a day. Bree seems less interested. She is not one to sit and watch for any length of time. And that's just fine. The good news is, for as much as Drew likes watching TV, he likes being outside ten times better!

You know I let E&R watch preschool programming...and I don't see any problem with it. I do cut it off when I see them turning into "vegetables" but just like Drew, they'd much rather be outside any day! And they've learned A LOT from Dora, Blue, and
Yo Gabba Gabba! :) I think as long as you're getting playtime, reading time, and activity time in, it's fine...
I love that little ottoman Drew is sitting on! He has the best seat in the house! So cute!
